I Sold My First Painting!!
SOLD to Cookie "Chainsaw" Randolph and his lovely wife, Suzy! I'm thrilled by my first sale of my original art work! Yes, it was a co-worker who bought my collage/painting, but what the heck. Friends can show their support in many ways and buying a painting outright is certainly one of them. Thank you for your support, my friend.
If you're interested in owning an original work of art, please check out the paintings in other blog posts and let me know. You may leave a comment or email me at: NReeba@aol.com.

Ruthie! SO good to find you blogging :) I am a long time listener with my husband Mr. Curry, and blogger lover. Ruthie lover :) I am blown away by your secret talent. I had no idea you were so talented, creative, could produce such beautiful images. I truly love your work, and I don't bullshit with art. I am a San Diegan novelist, a published poet, finishing my second novel ' Agitate My Heart '. I will do a post on your art next week to help promote you. I have almost 300 followers so hopefully can be helpful. Come read some of my poems I post sometime.

Hey Ruthie,
ReplyDeleteI was just checking out your art and not only did I find them to be absolutely beautiful, amazing, and inspiring, I'm even considering taking a mixed media class myself. Congrats on your first sale!!! That's so wonderful, both for you and for Chainsaw and Suzy.
Thanks for sharing your perspective and passion with all of us!

OMG! Your artwork is wonderful! It's giving me inspiration to get my craft room back together & create. I do mainly rubber stamping, but am very drawn to collage & altered pieces. I'm glad you listened to your sister and let your creative spirit out to "play" again.
ReplyDeleteAnother blog you might enjoy (it's my fav) is Understand Blue @ http://understandblue.blogspot.com
I'll be following your blog, Ruthie, to see what else you create.
